About

I’m interested in the intersection of technology, conflict, and culture. I’ve explored “Trust in Technology” on a Thomas J. Watson Fellowship, given a TED talk on the future of digital conflict, and written for outlets like the Harvard Law Review on cybersecurity policy.

For a sample of my interests— the distribution of al-Qaeda and ISIS encryption tools, malicious use of social media trends following public crises to spread malware, law enforcement challenges on the dark web, and the looming privacy challenges of automated facial recognition.
